Navel Chakra
There is a great series of workshops in progress for the chakras. Every 2 weeks, will be in information session on a chakra. Those who are following the entire series will spend the days in between working on that chakra. A couple weeks ago the class for the Navel Chakra was given with an excellent group of 6 participants. Here is some information about the Navel Chakra:
NAVEL CHAKRA
The navel chakra is located in the lower abdoment below the actual navel. It is sometimes called the sex chakra as it involves the sexual organs (gonads and genitalia). Other organs associated with this chakra are the womb, kidneys, bladder, and the lower back.
This is the chakra of WATER and of FEELINGS. Its colors are shades of orange. The gemstones for this chakra are coral, carlenian, and moonstone. The herbs and oils for this chakra are orris, clove, vanilla, jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood, copal, coconut, orange, bergamot, neroli, and damiana.
If you wish to ingest substances to help connect with this chakra, eat foods that are pleasurable or high on the citrus or liquid side. These include water (of course) orange juice, coconut milk, sliced oranges, aloe juice, fruits and salads. For those who like teas, we recommend an orange-rooibos blend or prehaps a lichee-jasmine tea.
This chakra is associated with female sexual energy, pleasure, sexual passion, emotiona, change, creativity, confidence, reproduction, fertility, desire, gratification, and emotional identity. You know you have problems or blocks with your navel chakra if you have sexual problems or urinary problems. GUILT blocks this chakra. Work through the things you feel guilty for or of to clear out and open this chakra. Forgive yourself and then let go. You will feel balanced and more able to "go with the flow".
Some things you can do to meditate and connect with this chakra are to do exercises to work out the lower back and lower abdomen, pelvis rocking, massaging the lower back and buttocks... having sex.
This chakra is also about the RIGHT TO FEEL. You have the right to feel, no emotions are wrong. You have the right to feel pleasure. Pleasure invites us to expand while pain generally makes us contract. Nurture yourself, care for your needs, love your body, feed your soul.
Perhaps make a list: What brings you pleasure?
Try doing one thing a day that simply pleases you.

This book is very clear and detailed on how to properly prepare the coffee for this divination and how to interpret the images found in the cup from the coffee grounds. Like the book mentioned above, it contains pictures of what will actually appear in the cup with lots of advice on how to interpret what you see.

Following a Wiccan framework we will then incorporate the Elements and God/Goddess energy in the work as well as exploring the ethics of TT in relation to the Rede and the Rule of Three. Self-TT and distance-TT will also be addressed. No prior experience is necessary. An understanding of Wiccan principals would be helpful.

Root Chakra
There is a great series of workshops in progress for the chakras. Every 2 weeks, will be in information session on a chakra. Those who are following the entire series will spend the days in between working on that chakra. A couple weeks ago the class for the Root Chakra was given with an excellent group of 6 participants. Here is some information about the Root Chakra:
ROOT CHAKRA
The root chakra is located at the very base f the spine, specifically where the perineum is on your body. It ties in the secondary and tertiary chakra points of your legs, knees and especially your feet.
This is the chakra of EARTH and of GROUNDING. Its colors are reds, browns, and black. The gemstones for this chakra are onyx, obsidian, jet, red jasper, garnet, hematite, bloodstone, smokey or black quartz, and black tourmaline. The herbs and oils for this chakra are oakmoss, Irish moss, patchouli, vetivert, cedar, myrrh, red sandalwood, styrax (also called storax).
If you wish to ingest substances to help connect with this chakra, eat foods that are high in protein or slow and heavy in the body... grounding foods. These include red meats, dairy products, legumes, grains and breads, hearty oatmeal. For those who like teas, we recommend a gentle green powdered macha, a roasted genmacha, or solomon's seal tea.
This chakra is associated with male sexual energy, grounding, carnal and material needs, basic needs (food, shelter, safety), stability, survival, perseverance, your foundations. You know you have problems or blocks with your root if you have many problems with bowel movements, aches and pains in the legs and feet, anxiety. FEAR blocks this chakra. Work through the things you are afraid of to clear out and open this chakra. Face your fears, understand them, and then let them go. It does not mean you will not be afraid, but that you will not be paralyzed by these fears. You feel balanced and grounded, more stable.
Some things you can do to meditate and connect with this chakra are to do exercises to work out the legs and develop balance (like standing in the Horse Stance), sitting still and relaxing, pamper your feet (foot and/or leg massages, pedicures).
This chakra is also about the RIGHT TO HAVE AND RIGHT TO BE. You have the right to BE who you are. You have the right to BE where you are. You have the right to basic needs, the right to feel safe and secure. You have the right to have material things in your life, the right to have success and stability. Herbs VS Teas
Every now and then, the store receives a complaint about an herb making a client ill. On the packaging of all our magical herbs, we do not recommend them for drinking, not without serious research into herbalism. Our packaged herbs are for magical use only.
If you seek herbs for ingesting for their magical properties, we ask that you please be patient as we are in the process of setting up a tea corner with magical and medicinal tea for sale as well as private blends from our Apothecary. The area is under construction and staff are under training.

And So the Wheel Turns
We have passed a great Fall Equinox. The weaher was incredible for ritual outdoors. Now we are moving into October and Samhain. This is a time to bring things to a close and evaluate the year. It is also a time to think about your ancestors. As the veil grows thinner between this worl and the Otherworld, It is easier to communicate with the other side, and so divination becomes important around this time of year.
Here at Melange Magique, we are also getting ready for this time of year. Whe are decorating for the Sabbat with cats, mice, pumpkin and more. We have received cauldrons and books about strange and scary creatures. We have even received some specialty items: Pentagram soaps and Pumpkin soaps, wands, Bast and Thoth statues.
We are also preparing for a new event: Romani Yag
We will be in attendance with a booth in their vending area. We hope to see you there, October 12-14th.

New Products & What to do with Them!
We have received an incredible shipment of inks, quills, parchment and journals.
Lovely glass quills are a was to focus on careful writing and directing energy into the pages of your book of chadows. Enhance this with specialized inks of various colors or even a metallic pigment ink!
We have various types of parchments: natural paper parchment, sheep skin vellum, calf skin velum, and papyrus. These are excellent for your spellwork. Parchments are used to write your wish, details for a spell, a magical seal of sigil. Then they are anointed with oil, usually on the four corners. Depending on your spell, there are several ways to charge them with energy and purpose and release them. Some will place them in front of a mirror, under a candle or burn them. Sometimes you are meant to keeps them, put them up in your home, fold them and tuck them into a drawer or in your purse, or even bury them. It all depends on the spell you are doing.
The journals are excellent for a Book of Shadows. We have many different styles. Always select a book that appeals to you. Some questions you ask yourself are:
- Lined or unlined?
- White pages or natural yellowed pages?
- How many pages?
- What dimensions? Large 8.5 x 11 inch? 5 x 7 inch? Smaller?
- Do you prefer a binder?
- Spiral bound or perfect (regular book) binding?
Deciding the contents of your book of shadows is often more difficult. Do you want a multipurpose Book of Shadows (BOS) or several different books for specific subjects? Most Book of Shadows contain reference information and correspondances for gerbs and oils and stones and more. They also contain spells and instructions for rituals, as well as the results of these magical works. A Book of Shadows is your magical journal, a journal of your journey on this path and all that you learn and experience on it.
VooDoo Baby charms are again back in stock with many new designs, including a kitty one and miniture versions of several of the styles. Hang them from your cell phone or purse, from your car mirror, from your office desk, or around your home (I have one hanging from each kitchen cupboard knob).
Sage smudges have arrived!! We have our usual stock of smudges. However, we also received lovely hand picked, hand dried and hand crafted smudges for all occasions of cleancing and blessing your home and yourself.
Our 2007 calendars have started coming in. We have yet to receive the Seasons of the Witch series and the Meynard's Celestial Influences and ask that you please be patient till they do arrive.

Une nouvelle saison qui commence
Avec l'approche de l'automne, le Mélange Magique a décidé de se préparer et nous venons de recevoir plusieurs produits que nous commandons qu'une fois par année, habituellement.
- Nos calendriers sont arrivés. Nous avons des calendriers de toutes sortes, du calendrier astrologique jusqu'au calendrier hindu en passant par des calendriers wicca et bouddhiste.
- Nous avons recus nos chandelles! Finalement, tout nos modèles de chandelles possibles sont en magasin. Chandelles droites, chandelles dans un contenant de verres, chandelles avec des huiles déjà préparées à l'avance, tout est là.
- Des bagettes de bois, fait à la main, viennent de faire leur apparition. Elles ont fait leurs preuves et même qu'elles nous ont été conseillés lors du Kaleidoscope Gathering.
- Coté ingrédient, une autre commande vient d'arriver. Nous avons recu des "Job's Tears", des encres de Anna Riva, du papier parchement, des ensembles de plumes avec parchemins végétals et encres, des petits sac amérindiens fait à la main avec de la peau de chevreuil, des éguilles de porcépique, des batons de sauges et bien d'autres choses.
- Comme pièces artisanales, nous avons deux athamés en bois d'ébène. Ils ont été gravés à la main. Un possède un quartz clair au centre, l'autre en n'as pas. Très beau travail, ce seraient des athamés plus qu'efficace.

Deity of the Week - MA'AT
DEITY OF THE WEEK - MA'AT

The goddess Ma’at is one of the more important gods of the Egyptian pantheon. As the Goddess who represents truth, justice, and the laws of nature, no important decision of a Pharaoh could be carried out without offerings to Ma’at. It is said that even her father, the sun god Ra, was subject to her laws, and that it was Ma’at that created order out of chaos at the beginning of the world. This is intensified by the fact that her husband, Thoth, is the god of wisdom, scribes (or, more modernly, the written word) and magic. Ma’at is the laws of the universe, the natural ebb and flow of the cosmos and the order of things, and Thoth can be said to write these laws down and brings them to a more human perspective and practice.
In the Egyptian Book of the Dead the trials of Ma’at are one of the most important parts of the journey of the soul. Just before the soul of the dead person can finally be united with Osiris and enjoy eternal life, his heart must be weighed against the feather of Truth (Ma’at’s feather) on the scales of Justice (Ma’at herself). If the heart of the person weighs less or the same as the feather and is judged by Thoth to be found (relatively) free of sin and falsehood, then the soul is allowed to pass to the final stage of his journey. If the heart weighs more then the feather however, the soul is eaten and destroyed by the beast Ammet. This passage shows that the Egyptians believed that only by living justly in this world, would they be accepted among the gods in the next. Ma’at is the symbol of all that is just, right and balanced and the Egyptians believed by living up to her laws they would be maintaining the universe against chaos.

The Weighing of the Heart against the Feather of Ma’at
Ma’at can still be used in ritual today. The ideals she represents are universal and ageless ones. In fact in a society that seems so unbalanced, with all its emphasis on the material world, Ma’at is perhaps the more needed. Ma’at teaches us to live in harmony with universal truths and the laws of nature and to maintain balance in our lives. Call upon Ma’at to help show you the right path between extreme choices or to help obtain justice. Try to keep the ideals of Ma’at in mind before taking any major steps and you will find yourself living a better life.

Potos are in from our Kaleidoscope Gathering Camping Festival
The following photos are of out little Kitchen Tent with the tables and stock all set up. We were placed in the secondary vending area on the other side of the Valahalla Cafe. would sometimes joke that we were on the other side of Valhalla where the dead don't even go. That was because not many people realized there was a secondary vending area. It was quiet. We still did well at KG, but we know for next year to show up earlier and be in the primary vending area. It was still fun!!
This is the bright dragonfly that came to visit us and eat the mosquitoes and other bugs that invaded out tent. He looked very pretty on the pouches!
Below is the Viking Longship in the small lake onsite. The theme this year at the festival was Norse Vikings. The film "13th Warrior" was projected on a giant white sail on the longship one evening. The ship was hand-built by the staff of the festival and each shield hand-painted.
Sam, the Elf, ready for tarot/oracle readings and myself, Scarlet, waiting to make the first sales of the day.
And lastly, here are some scenic shots from the area: the forest and the lake.

We we get back from vacations and ready ourselves for school and work, we often find the need to cleans and purify ourselves. We seek a connection in spirituality and a sense of rejuvenation, energy to face the new Fall endeavors ahead. Here are some things you can do.

New Reader!
We would like to welcome Erica as our new reader in the store. Erica uses the Faerie Oracle cards to consult the energies of the faeries and asks them their advice on situations, much like as with other tarot reading methods. She believes that as faeries see the world in a very open and broad way, and believe in neither right or wrong, they tend to give very open and non-judgemental advice, getting to the heart of the matter, rather then dwelling on social mores.

Nouveauté pour le Blog et le magasin
Sous peu, vous pourrez commencez à suivre les conseils des auteurs du Blog dans leur chronique hebdomadaire! Nous allons essayer d'écrire une chronique par semaine, chacun ayant son domaine. Les sujets ne sont pas encore décidés, mais parmis ceux mentionnés nous avons l'huile de la semaine, la divinité de la semaine, la méditation bouddhiste de la semaine, la pierre de la semaine, ect. Vous devriez voir cette routine s'installer dans quelques semaines, si ce n'est pas quelques jours!!
Pour le magasin, nous avons reçu nos calendriers et nos agendas pour 2008. C'est le temps de venir vous procurez vos calendriers avant qu'il nous en manque. Ils se vendent très vite, comme à chaque année! Nous faisons maintenant des ensembles de runes avec des pierres et cristaux, préparé à la main par Robyn. Plusieurs pierres sont disponibles, pour l'instant nous avons des runes en larmes d'apache, en sodolite, en jaspe rouge et en fluorite. Plusieurs autres seront gravés. Nous discutons présentement d'offrir des talismans à l'Apothicaire.
Aussi, puisque nous avons remarqués que notre clientèle et nos lecteurs sont souvent intéressés par nos recommandations de livres ou curieux de savoir ce que nous utilisons dans nos vies de tout les jours. Alors, nous allons monter un coin où les employés pourront mettre des livres qu'ils considères comme référence dans leur domaine (Par exemple, les auras pour moi, l'herboristerie pour Maery, les pierres pour Samantha, ect.), ainsi que les produits qu'ils utilisent comme des sels de bains, des huiles et des encens.

Vandalized!
This morning Scarlet and I arrived to find that overnight someone had shot out our front door with a BB-gun. The glass was still in place, but was fractured into hundreds of little pieces, like an intricate spiderweb. Happily, our door is shatterproof and two-paned, so the store was still secure, but what a shock!
The door will be repaired in short order (thanks to our lovely insurance company), but we're feeling a little sorry for ourselves. Come out and show us some love, please!

Spellcrafting success!
Thanks to those who turned out for yesterday's Spellcrafting 101 class! I was so pleased by the positive feedback and how well things went that I will be hosting another Spellcrafting 101 course on Sunday August 5th from 1-3pm, as well as a Spellcrafting 201 'Methods' class on Sunday August 26th from 1-3pm. Bonjour lointain.
On dirait, pour moi, qu'il y a qu'une semaine, j'étais assis ici pour vous écrire. Pourtant, plus d'un mois s'est écoulé.
Donc, qu'est-ce qu'il y a de nouveau? Premièrement, il y a eu de la redécoration, encore une fois! Le tout nous offre plus de place, avec l'arrivé de l'été (dit l'homme frigorifié sur sa chaise), c'est très rafraichissant. Nous avons recu beaucoup de nouveaux Voodoo Babies, des nouvelles statuettes des Fee un huile édition limité de tournesol (Venez en acheter si vous voullez que nous en gardons constamment en stock ^_^) .
Coté livres, malheureusement notre section francaise est toujours appauvrit. Par contre, nos sections "Kabbalah" et "Magick and Thelema" sont maintenant plus que remplis! Plusieurs références dans le domaine de l'occulte sont arrivées, dont "Complete Magician's Tables" de Skinner. C'est un excellent livre de référence à lui seul.
Nous avons recu notre commande de bijoux avec des cristaux et pierres. Il est temps de vous procurer votre collier de quartz, d'oeil de tigre ou de malachite, mais faite vite!

Donc, qu'est-ce qu'il y a de nouveau? Premièrement, il y a eu de la redécoration, encore une fois! Le tout nous offre plus de place, avec l'arrivé de l'été (dit l'homme frigorifié sur sa chaise), c'est très rafraichissant. Nous avons recu beaucoup de nouveaux Voodoo Babies, des nouvelles statuettes des Fee un huile édition limité de tournesol (Venez en acheter si vous voullez que nous en gardons constamment en stock ^_^) .
Coté livres, malheureusement notre section francaise est toujours appauvrit. Par contre, nos sections "Kabbalah" et "Magick and Thelema" sont maintenant plus que remplis! Plusieurs références dans le domaine de l'occulte sont arrivées, dont "Complete Magician's Tables" de Skinner. C'est un excellent livre de référence à lui seul.
Nous avons recu notre commande de bijoux avec des cristaux et pierres. Il est temps de vous procurer votre collier de quartz, d'oeil de tigre ou de malachite, mais faite vite!

Le Melange Magique is once again offering its upstairs third floor for workshops and rituals. The public can reserve it for events, seminars, workshops, rituals, meditations, etc.
The space is made available for free to community events which do not charge admission; regular rental fee is $15.00 per hour.
Better yet, support the Montreal Pagan Resource Center by hosting your event through them; donate the income from your event to the MPRC and the rental fee is reduced to 10% per person.

A sneak peak at the upcoming summer courses.
We've been busy with spring cleaning our classroom and ritual spaces in preparation for the new summer courses. Espaces ritualistique et nouvelles générales
Bonjour toutes et tous!
Encore une fois, ici le "bouddhiste attitré" qui prend quelques minutes pour vous parler de ce qui se passe au magasin depuis la dernière fois.
Nous avons reçu plein d'encens d'un petit peu partout. En plus de nos batons que nous faisons nous-même, nous avons des encens liés aux éléments asiatiques (Feu, Eau, Métal, Bois, Terre). Nous avons aussi plein d'encens divers en cones, pour ceux que ça intéresse!
L'espace de rituel en haut du Mélange Magique est maintenant prêt!! Nous avons libérés beaucoup de place, donc nous pouvons maintenant louer la salle! Vous avez un groupe de personnes qui cherchent un endroit pour tenir un rituel ou tout autre événement du genre? Appellez-nous pour réserver la salle.
Suggestion de livre du Bouddhiste:
Instant Magick de Christopher Penczak. Ce livre discute comment faire de la magie sans grands rituels, sans incantations, sans ingrédients, ect. Penczak pousse l'enveloppe un peu, expliquant plusieurs concepts excessivement pratique sur le contrôle d'énergie. Chaque chapitre est séparé par sujet très précis et à la fin de chaque chapitre, il y a des petits exercices utiles et faciles à faire qui aident énormément à la compréhension de ses théories. Un de mes livres préférés, sinon LE livre #1 pour moi pour l'instant.

SPRING has SPRUNG!
This week all our new lines for spring arrived. You can now expect to find all kinds of new stones, voodoo baby keychain charms, brass candle holders, incense boats, chalices, incenses, henna kits, Tibetan singing bowls, Witch balls and Fairy orbs...all so pretty! BUT! Even more exciting then even all this is our new magical garden section.
We now offer a wonderful variety of kits to help you plant a magical garden. From a green tea kit, to lucky clovers, edible pansies, wheatgrass, mini-sunflowers, mini English-roses and more! You MUST come see it. And come quick! Its already selling like wildfire!

Que de nouveauté!
Après une "Saint-Patties day" bien fêtée et une journée chargée de questions des gens qui découvrit que le Mélange existe, je prend quelques minutes pour vous parler des nouveautés dans le magasin.
Ils sont totaltement adorables, vous vous devez de venir les voir avant qu'ils ne partent tous. Nous avons reçu des Voodoo Babies. Ce sont des petites poupées d'inspirations voodoo déguisées et habillées de toute sortes de manières. Les Voodoo Babies sont tout simplement adorables ^_^! Leur corps est fait d'une seule ficelle et sont environs entre 3cm à 6cm en hauteur.
Nous avons reçu plusieurs nouvelles pierres que les gérantes ont achetés au "Montreal Gift Show". Nous avons des émeraudes, labradorite et bien d'autres! Nous avons même des pyramides de pierres de nouveau!
Et maintenant, une simple traduction d'un vieux message, avec un petit "spoiler": Nous sommes en train de faire de l'espace pour nous permettre de tenir des séminaires, des ateliers et, plus particulièrement, des rituels à grande envergure. Nous visons une ouverture de cette espace au cours du mois de mai. Le scoop? Plusieurs vieux trucs que nous gardions ont été jetés pour faire de l'espace. Et par "trucs", je veux dire "meubles". Alors, considéré l'espace qui nous serait disponible. Yay ^_^!

En mémoire de la Reine des Chats
Comme plusieurs d'entre vous savez déjà, Knick Knack n'allait pas très bien. Elle était très malade depuis un bon moment. Les pillules qu'elle prenait pour ses crises d'épilepsie et pour sa thyroid n'étaient plus suffisants. Depuis le début de la semaine passée, elle a restée dans le bureau en arrière et elle quittait simplement pour manger et autres trucs nécessaires, sinon elle dormait. Elle ne ronronnait même plus lorsque nous la prenions.
Elle a déjà été un chat excessivement dynamique, sociable et enjouée. Elle était pleine d'attitude, de personalité et de vie. C'était devenu très difficile pour l'équipe de la regarder souffrir à chaque jour.
Tequila semblait savoir ce qui se passait plus tot cette semaine. Il est devenu exceptionnellement "colleux" et bavard avec les employés depuis quelques jours. Dès que Knicky sortait de derrière le magasin, il la suivait partout en lui parlant.
Elle a été voir le vétérinaire à chaque semaines environs pendant des mois. Nous avons fait tout ce que nous pouvions faire. En gros, elle ne devrait pas souffrir parce que nous aimons la voir au magasin. Elle a plus que simplement méritée du repos.
Le matin du 9 Mars, nous avons fait un dernier voyage au vétérinaire pour faciliter son passage. Pendant que tout ceci nous brise le coeur, je crois que c'était la bonne chose à faire.

In Memoriam of the Queen of Cats
As many of you know, Knick Knack had not been doing well. She had been very sick, for a very long time. The meds she had been on for her seizures and her thyroid were no longer sufficient. For the past week she had only left the back office of the store for food or cat box needs, and otherwise she slept. She no longer even purred when held or petted.
She was once the most dynamic, friendly and playful cat I knew. She was full of attitude, personality and life. It has been very hard for the staff to watch her suffering from day to day.
Tequila seemed to know what was going on earlier this past week. He had become exceptionally clingy and talkative with the staff for days. Whenever Knicky came to the front of the store he escorted her everywhere, sniffing her, crying at her.
She had been to the vet every few weeks for months. We've honestly done all that we can. And the bottom line is that she should not be made to suffer because we like seeing her at the store. She's more then earned her rest.
This morning we took one last trip to the vet so that we could ease Knick Knack's parting. While it weighed heavily in my heart, I think that it was the right thing to do.
This has been a very hard year for those who are guardians of cats.
If you are of a mind to make an offering in her memory, please donate to your local branch of the SPCA.

New Stones
The managers went and had a BLAST at the Montreal Gift Show. There are many new things on their way in to the store over the next month or so.

Today, we received a bunch of new stones: emerald, labradorite, tree agate and MUCH much more. We also have some incredible double-pointed larger pieces of quartz and amethyst, as well as standing points and pyramids. AND!!! And we have gemstone pendulums.

Leaked Info just for YOU!
We had a meeting the other day and decided that we will be fixing up some space to hold rituals and larger workshops once again. There will be more info on this over the month. We hope to celebrate the opening of the space in April or May.

Retour karmique!
Cela fait maintenant bien trop longtemps que j'ai fait un poste sur le blog du magasin. J'en suis complètement désolé! Je ne le referai plus, je vous le jure ^_^ ! Donc, pour un résumé de ce qui se passe ici, au magasin, depuis plus d'un mois.
Le CRPM (Centre de Ressources Païen de Montréal) a changé leur décor! Le mur latéral qui séparait le magasin et le CRPM a été déplacé et maintenant il sépare le CMS (Crescent Moon School). Vous ne voyez pas ce que je veux dire? Alors il est temps pour vous de venir nous voir! L'horaire des volontaires du CRPM est maintenant sur un petit tableau à l'entrée du magasin, venez le consulter si vous êtes intéressées à venir consulter leur bibliothèque ou tout simplement leur tenir compagnie.
Nous avons reçu des nouvelles bagues des Forges D'Orlan. Plusieurs nouveaux modèles sont en création et dès qu'ils seront terminés, ils se joindront à notre collection. Nous avons aussi de nouveaux colliers. Des dragons, des pentacles, des ankhs, tout ceci avec une petite chaine. Et voici une très bonne nouvelle pour les francophones qui fréquentent le magasin...
NOUS AVONS REÇU DES LIVRES EN FRANÇAIS! Et oui, finalement nous avons nos 3 rangées remplies! Même que depuis que les livres ont touchés les tablettes (depuis environs 2 semaines), une bonne quantité a déjà quittée le magasin. Venez vite et procurez-vous une copie de Comment développer son intuition avant que ce livre (une référence à mon avis!) soit complètement vendu.
Du coté félin, nos deux résidents habituels (Knick Knack et Tequila) sont toujours avec nous, malgré que Knick Knack a toujours besoin d'une maison chaleureuse où elle pourrait guérrir. Pour l'instant, elle doit prendre des médicaments assez dispendieux à tout les jours, mais si un âme charitable serait intéressé à s'occuper de la petite Knick Knack chez lui/elle, il/elle n'a qu'à appeller au Mélange Magique pour nous en informer.
Venez rencontrer notre nouvelle employée, Maery! Maery fait maintenant partie de l'équipe du Mélange depuis la fin du mois de janvier. Elle a rapidement pris sa place, sa grande connaissance sur les herbes et plantes à fin médicinale aide beaucoup dans le magasin. Elle travaille presque tout les jours de la semaine, alors il sera difficile pour vous de la manquer si vous voullez lui souhaiter le bienvenue ^_^!
Et comme vous avez surement vue sur les photos plus bas, Ainsley Maeve Murphy est venue au monde le 23 janvier à 9:03am. Elle est complètement adorable et elle a déjà charmée les employées du Mélange lorsqu'elle a passé mercredi passé. Évidement, nous n'avons pas passé à coté d'une chance de faire une petite analyse de Ainsley:
- Ainsley est né sous le signe du Verseau, Poisson en signe ascendant et la lune en Bélier.
- Elle est née à la toute fin de l'année du Chien et au tout début de l'heure du Serpent (Yin et Feu)
- Son chiffre de naissance est le 5 (beaucoup de changement!) avec un chemin de vie de 6 (Elle sera très avec les gens et en couple) et un chiffre de destin de 7 (le chiffre de l'élève et du mystique).
Donc, encore une fois, félicitations à Ainsley, Tim, Debra, Elspeth et Shirley! Une année débuté en force!

Elle est complètement adorable et elle a déjà charmée les employées du Mélange lorsqu'elle a passé mercredi passé. Évidement, nous n'avons pas passé à coté d'une chance de faire une petite analyse de Ainsley:
- Ainsley est né sous le signe du Verseau, Poisson en signe ascendant et la lune en Bélier.
- Elle est née à la toute fin de l'année du Chien et au tout début de l'heure du Serpent (Yin et Feu)
- Son chiffre de naissance est le 5 (beaucoup de changement!) avec un chemin de vie de 6 (Elle sera très avec les gens et en couple) et un chiffre de destin de 7 (le chiffre de l'élève et du mystique).

Can you feel it coming?
Spring is surely near! You can tell because spirits are beginning to lift, and new stock is already arriving. This week alone we've had a major shipment of Witchballs in, rams' horns (both in medium and small this time!), new pretty pretty journals, and boooooooks! So many books! I love when our shelves are full like this! (Though that shouldn't stop you from coming to empty them, of course!)
Also, we recently had a very special visitor. Debra came in with the new baby. Look!

Welcome to the year of the boar!
It seems like winter has finally caught up with us, doesn't it?
After such a tough year for many during the year of the dog, we're finally moving on into something new and exciting. Given my natural curiosity, I did a little reasearch about what the change in signs might mean: THE FIRE PIG, 2007 Active, outgoing and extroverted, Fire Pigs breathe new life into everything they do. These Pigs are vivid, motivated individuals who cannot be deterred from a goal once they have set it. They are emotional and passionate about their loved ones, their occupations and their objectives. They are bold and vivacious, unafraid to take risks despite the consequences. They make great bosses because they do work so hard and because they are so spirited. But don’t doublecross a Fire Pig. They have the ability to be quite abrasive when things don’t turn out as they planned.

Thérapies Alternatives Mini Conférences
Présenté dans le cadre du cours de niveau 1 de l'école Crescent Moon, ce Vendredi, le 9 Février, venez nous rejoindre et assister a nos mini-conférences sur les thérapies alternatives.
En premier, nous aurons la massothérapeute Julie Beauchamp, qui parlera de massage Suédois, suivi de Robyn Stroll, practicienne de Reiki, qui parlera de ses experiences avec la médicine énérgetique.
