We're already thinking ahead to the coming spring, and so here is a list of our upcoming workshops!

Element Series: Water (Amanda)
Natural elements are a foundational underpinning of many esoteric traditions. In this series of classes we will explore the ones commonly associated with the five points on the witches’ pentacle using activities designed to bring us in tune with their energies. We will also explore their history, magical associations, and some common symbology. Each class will focus on a separate element. The course is designed as a series that builds over eight weeks, but they can be taken individually.

Reiki Share (Robyn)
Are you a Reiki practitioner looking to practice your skills? This is the event for you! Now offered on a monthly basis, you will be able to come and exchange Reiki sessions with other Reiki practitioners with help and supervision from a Reiki Master of the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. This is an excellent way to gain confidence in your skills as a healer and to connect with other students of Reiki. Please RSVP early, as space is limited.

Let’s Discuss: How we see ourselves living our paganism/alternative beliefs (As practicing individuals, In our personal circles of family and friends, As students, As professionals), How we see ourselves as “communities” or movement (Personal Covens or spiritual groups, Cultural influences on our beliefs (QC-Ont. Example), Is there a “need or want” for community/unity?), How the outside sees “us” / their misconceptions and our reputation (Are we still perceived as ‘evil worshippers’?, Are we seen as simply following a “freak” belief system?, Is the outside opinion important or not? Should we care?, Discussing our beliefs, still the taboo subject?, Should we “advocate” as once happened in the early movement?)

Knowing the Difference - Greg Stroll
How does one know the difference between warning signs of mental illness and the growing desire to explore psychic abilities and the paranormal? Spellcraft 101 (Bilingual) - Brenda & Francois
Casting spells can sometimes seem difficult. There is the general misconception that spells must be complicated and intricate, and that only a special few know how to craft a spell properly. In actuality, all it takes is a little knowledge and knowing how to do your own research. Spellcraft 101 introduces you to the basics of magic and the crafting of spells. A few of the topics to be covered are: Magic and how it works, timing your spell, simple ingredients and how to craft your own spell. Spellcraft 102 expands on the ideas covered in spellcraft 101 . We will discuss planetary hours, moons through the zodiac, a few more advanced ideas in spell crafting and more. // Lancer un sortilège peut parfois sembler difficile. Certains croient faussement que la création d'un sortilège est très complexe et que cet art n'est connu que de très peu. En fait, les seuls pré-requis sont quelques notions de base et savoir comment faire ses recherches. Le cours Sortilèges 101 vous introduira aux bases de la magie et de la conception des sortilèges. Parmi les sujets qui y seront abordés sont: La magie; comment elle fonctionne, quand faire vos sortilèges, les ingrédients de base et comment créer votre propre sortilège. Au cours de la formation Sortilège 102 seront ensuite approfondies les notions vues dans le cours précédant. Join us in this intensive course to learn all you need to know to become a First Degree Reiki Practitioner. Topics covered will include: the history and origins of Reiki, the ethics of being a Reiki practitioner, what the hand positions are in a full Reiki session, how to treat others as well as yourself, and formal initiation to the Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki. Time will be given for practice as well.

This course is only open to Reiki practitioners who have already received their First Degree of Reiki. Topics covered will include Reiki symbols and their uses, long-distance treatments, mental/emotional healing treatments, mind-to-mind techniques, chakra harmonization, Crystal grids and and formal initiation to the second degree of the Usui Shiki Ryoho style of Reiki using the American Reiki Mastery Association's style of initiations.
